Students are actively engaged and accountable for their own learning and personal growth in a safe environment. The school district believes the success of each student is the shared responsibility of students, families, schools, and communities. Wilson Student Handbook 2017 - 2018

Dear Parents,

As part of our future ready vision, all students in grades 6th through 12th grade have access to a district owned Chromebook. This device is assigned to students and stays with them both at school and home. The device’s filter exceeds the standards of the Children’s Internet Protection Act and is active both on and off of the school network. To support this initiative, we have streamlined the permission process and ability to pay for the optional maintenance fee if you decide to utilize it. NISD’s online payment portal, In Touch, will serve as a single location where you  can do any of the following:

  • Accept and pay for the optional maintenance plan
  • Decline the optional maintenance plan
  • Identify that you are covered under the prior insurance plan

For new students and incoming 6th graders, this process is required before your child will receive his/her device. If you have multiple students in 6th through 12th grades, you can process all of your children in one transaction. If you have any questions, please contact the campus office.

This link: Technology Division: Student Device page
will take you to the student device page on the NISD website. Click on the link to complete the forms for your student to be issued a device and review the Secondary Device User Agreement.

Home Access Center:

·       The Home Access Center can be accessed directly here:  HAC can also be accessed by clicking the Parents link available on the district webpage, scroll to the Popular Links section and click the Home Access Center icon (A+).  We also have an app for grades, attendance, etc.  You can download the app by searching for eSchoolPLUS Family in Google Play or the App Store. High school and middle school students can also make use of the app.  Both parents and students use their HAC login for the eSchoolPLUS Family app.

·       Do you want to receive email alerts on attendance, classwork, course average, progress report, and report cards? After logging into HAC, parents can elect the email alerts they would like at the top of each page.  Ex: parent selects attendance.  The email option is just above the attendance summary.  Parents can also hover over their name toward the right-hand corner of the page and select My Alerts to choose alerts for all of their children.
