Welcome to the Curriculum Supports Hub

The following pages are dedicated to providing you with resources that will help your family navigate the middle school curriculum and understand the academic expectations for each content area. Whether your student is tackling math equations, diving into historical events, exploring literature, conducting science experiments, or developing real-world skills in Career and Technical Education, these pages are designed to offer clarity and support.

Each subject-specific page includes:

• An overview of the curriculum and key learning goals by grade level

• Links to helpful resources, study tools, and enrichment opportunities

• Contact information for district/campus content leads and support staff

In addition, all 8th grade students are enrolled in College and Career Exploration (CCE) – a required elective that introduces them to the various High School Pathways and Academies available in NISD. Some academies require students to take specific electives during their 7th or 8th grade year in order to be eligible for high school programs. We encourage families to explore the Career & Technical Education page to learn more about these options and how to plan ahead for a successful transition to high school.
