Secondary ELA students will...

  • Read daily, analyze and critique texts from a variety of genres, styles, and authors to develop critical thinking skills that can be applied to all content areas.
  • Write daily in a variety of formats to develop and communicate ideas clearly and effectively in order to respond to texts and to create original compositions.
  • Engage in academic discussions to develop effective verbal communication, experience multiple perspectives, and collaborate with peers.
