Social Studies

Secondary Social Studies students will...

• Evaluate and synthesize the information from primary and secondary sources to understand historical events and how they have influenced the world around us. 
• Students will think like a historian by practicing historical thinking skills to understand and evaluate content from a variety of sources and perspectives, and make connections between past and current events. 
• Effectively communicate ideas, thoughts, and perspectives through the analysis of historical documents, images, graphics, and first-hand accounts.
